About
"Man becomes whole, integrated, calm, fertile, and happy when (and only when) the conscious and the unconscious have learned to live at peace and to complement one another."
Our Whole-Person Approach
We help leaders reintegrate and realign their work cultures toward respect and deeper purpose.
We’re all familiar with the issues we face at work: burnout, poor communication, friction between teammates. And yet, while these challenges are prevalent in professional settings, they’re not confined to our work life, are they?
We believe to create meaningful change within an organization is to support meaningful growth within the individuals that make up that organization. And it shows in how we work.
We design programs that address mission-critical business challenges, without reducing employees to widgets or automatons. Our whole-person approach ensures individuals are supported top-down, through shared vision and culture change, and bottom-up, by addressing the unconscious triggers that follow us to work, by strengthening team relationships, and by building personal confidence and capability.

Our Story
By 2015, all four of our kids were up and out of the house, living independently as adults. We felt some loneliness, some grief. And an expansive sense of opportunity stretching out in front of us. And yearning.
After decades of real-world leadership in business, non-profits, education, counseling, and family systems we found ourselves yearning for a place to pour our
skills, experience, and passion for people—and we were ready for a big adventure.
What came next proved to be more rewarding than we could have imagined. We incorporated ICF coaching methodologies, blending them with our personal skillsets and started our first company, Venturous Coaching. During those years, we helped lots of different people navigate lots of change—from corporate executives to content creators to college students. And in doing so, we stumbled into an insight. Regardless of background or identity, and whether their focus was on work or elsewhere, nearly all of our clients struggled with things like: limiting beliefs, self-doubt, decision paralysis, stuckness, overwhelm and distrust.
We recognized within each of our clients–and within ourselves—a deep longing for both a sense of meaning in life and for permission to drop our masks across all life’s facets. And we noticed that those issues show up very
acutely and tangibly at work. And all of us seemed to share the belief that work (where, by the way, the average American will spend ~90,000 hours of her life) was a fertile territory in which to seek community and self-actualization.
While coaching is incredibly fulfilling for us, and a rare, safe place to do introspective work, we felt strongly that there are some things you can only learn and practice in relationship with others. You can’t think your way to every breakthrough, some things just have to be experienced. And we became fascinated with the idea of creating experiences for teams—not supporting just one individual, but helping strengthen a community through individual support and shared experience.
At the intersection of all that—our experience, insight, talent, and passion—we discovered, more so than created, Kinetic Talent. Since its founding in 2023, we are proud to have become trusted partners in leadership growth, culture change, and executive team development for companies throughout the US.
And so the journey continues! We’re excited to work with employers and business leadership who are invested in a whole-person approach to talent development and have interest in building strong, healthy employee communities and purposeful, respectful, FUN work cultures.
Thank you for joining us on this adventure.
Cheers to the next,

Organizational Strategist
Steve is a systems-thinker with a coach’s heart. After a successful career in the insurance industry, where he held leadership roles for nearly two decades, Steve co-founded Kinetic Talent to help individuals and organizations access the clarity and courage needed for meaningful change. His gift lies in translating big-picture dynamics into elegant, actionable strategies—often uncovering the unseen patterns holding people or teams back.
A pivotal moment in Steve’s career came in 1998, when a DISC assessment offered a mirror he hadn’t known he needed. That new self-awareness sparked a professional transformation—and a lifelong fascination with how insight, when paired with support, can unlock performance and purpose. Today, he draws from other assessment tools and his own lived experience to help leaders see more clearly, communicate more authentically, and create cultures where people can thrive.

The Kinetic Talent Experience
Clients come to us when the pain is real but hard to name. Ambiguity makes it difficult to identify harmful patterns, but even more difficult to break out of them.
Sometimes, that outside perspective is just what’s needed to create a positive disruption. That’s the role we’ve carved out for ourselves. We approach group challenges in a grounded, empathetic way. And we’re unafraid to engage with difficult topics or acknowledge painful realities—in fact we’ve found that doing so is the only path to honest connection.
We spark action, kindle trust, and inspire (or sometimes, dare) teams to think differently, extend the olive branch, speak their mind honestly, and bravely advocate for what they need. As ever-developing leaders ourselves, we try to model the skills, presence, humor, trust and awareness that we hope to cultivate in our client teams.
Beyond just facilitation, we strive to create the kind of engagement and connection that’s rare in corporate life.
We believe
Healthy humans are connected.
For many, modern life has disconnected us from our community, our planet, and—perhaps most harmfully—ourselves. We believe that to support a more effective and engaged professional, we must first reintegrate those aspects to create a more whole person.
Our differences make us stronger.
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging play a vital role—not only to right societal imbalances, but also to infuse organizations with a vital source of perspective and innovation. We believe that seeing and celebrating our differences is the key to building a resilient, adaptable team.
Our work should have meaning.
On average, Americans spend roughly 90,000 hours working over the course of our lifetime. This is simply too high an investment to be meaningless. We believe work life is best spent in pursuit of a higher purpose, aligned with one’s own values.
Change takes time.
In a world of digital downloads and overnight delivery—we all (unsurprisingly) love instant gratification. But the nature of organic things is to move at a measured pace, building ourselves a little bit day-by-day. Human behavior change requires time for reflection and practice, and we believe that no lasting or sustainable change happens instantly (or after a 1-day session).
