They partner. They listen. They help HR leaders build systems and strategies that actually work for the people and the business. Their ability to guide teams through complexity while never losing sight of the human element is what makes them exceptional. If you’re serious about building an HR culture that supports growth, resilience, and real belonging, I can’t recommend them enough.

Cohort Development

In partnership with our client stakeholders, we group key employee sets into cohorts that will share learning & development goals and will navigate the culture journey together.

By assessing daily challenges facing each cohort, we’re able to tailor support, build meaningful rapport and camaraderie, break down communication silos, and shift team mindsets toward more ambitious goals, deeper insights and motivation for change. The result? Peer-generated problem-solving and innovation that ripples from the front line to the c-suite.

This service is designed as a complement to our Program Design offering.

Program Design & Benchmarking

As our most comprehensive service, Program Design allows us to work closely with clients and their stakeholders to map a journey that will transform work culture, break down silos, and establish the relationships necessary for great teamwork.

While any one of our a la carte services may be a stepping stone on the journey, our Program Design work allows us to weave together the right experiences, usually over the span of 6-18 months, to nurture long-term change. All the while, we’re collecting and analyzing data to help measure the tangible impact of each program toward client metrics.

In this capacity, we act like members of the client team—touching base frequently throughout the week and serving as a strategic thought partner as well as delivering the experiences themselves.

Leadership Assessments

What does it take?

Time to Prep: 1 week, plus questionnaire completion time
Time to Deliver: 2.5 hours
Budget: $800+ per person, plus any venue or catering costs
Estimate only; final price will reflect your unique needs.

Most of the assessment tools we’ve encountered focus on personality tests and communication styles. While these can offer an individual greater insight into how they’re perceived and how they’re different from their colleagues, they rarely shed light on what’s really needed: the blindspots.

Moving beyond surface level observations, we provide a suite of tools and analysis that help leaders reclaim their agency and connect more authentically at work.

We use three different types of assessment, paired with our own analysis and recommendations to help organizations discover and unlock hidden leadership potential.

  • Actualized Leadership Profile – for individual introspection
  • ALP 360 – multi-rater feedback from peers
  • Actualized Team Profile – for groups that need to lead as a team

Audiences today—whether in a breakout session or at speaking engagement—don’t need more content. They need connection. So, we don’t perform. Instead, we invite people into reflection, challenge them with clarity, and give them something they didn’t expect: a genuine shift in how they see themselves and their role in the system. It’s not just inspiring—it’s activating.

Our favorite topics are those that center on authenticity, and whole-person integration, and finding purpose in your work. We’re happy to develop content to align with your event’s particular needs and/or resonate with your team. Below are a few topics we’re passionate about:

  • Somatic Intelligence
  • Professional Authenticity
  • Creating Meaningful Connection at Work
  • Life-long Alignment with Purpose

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to pay for a first consultation?

Absolutely not! We love to meet like-minded human developers, whether they have a need for our skills or not. Every introduction is an opportunity to learn. And we’re happy to join a call or meet for a coffee free of charge.

  • How quickly can we get started?

As a small team, we pride ourselves on being nimble. Most of our engagements begin with a 30-minute call. From there, we customize the experience and can be ready to launch in days or weeks—not months.

  • Can you work with our internal HR/L&D team?

Absolutely. We often partner closely with internal leaders to complement existing programs or to fill gaps with specialized support—from departments like Human Resources to Learning and Development to more specifically Professional Development.

No matter what background they come from, we see all our clients as Talent Strategists and collaborate closely with them to retain and prepare the right talent to support the organization’s goals.

  • Where are you based? / What’s your service area?

We’re proudly based in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. We serve clients nationwide throughout the United States.

  • Do you offer virtual and in-person delivery?

Yes—we can deliver in person, via Zoom, or using your team’s internal communications platforms. That said, we find in-person delivery to be the most impactful. Being physically present allows us to bring our full energy into the space and create deeper, more lasting engagement with your teams.

  • What industries do you work in?

We’ve worked across healthcare, tech, finance, engineering, general contracting, manufacturing, creative services, and nonprofits. Our real expertise is people—not verticals.

  • Do you have a coaching certification?

Yes! Joanne and Steve both hold Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certifications from the International Coaching Federation. Both are also Actualized Performance Solutions certified consultants.

  • What types of speaking engagements do you typically book?

Whether it’s a 4-person breakout or a 2000-seat auditorium we seek to engage audiences deeply, to catalyse personal growth, and open minds to new ways of interacting with their world and their coworkers.

Our style of speaking is a great fit for any of the following:

    • Keynote Speaker
    • Plenary Speaker
    • Executive Retreats
    • Luncheons
    • Inclusive Workplace Events
    • Small Group Leadership Sessions
    • Strategic Team Events
    • Board Engagements
  • Which is right for me: A La Carte Solutions or a Customized  Program?

Our A La Carte Solutions are great for one-time infusion of energy or a quick mental reframe, and they provide a great alternative for those who don’t have the budget autonomy to commit to 6 months at a time.

Our Program Design track provides more comprehensive support, has more broad-ranging impact, and is truly a one-stop shop for most if not all leadership development needs for the year. Program Design also requires more commitment from clients both in terms of longer timelines and larger budgets.

If you’re still not sure, we’d love to talk through your unique challenges and help you understand where we could be most effective. Book a Free Call

  • What is a Cohort?

A Cohort is a group of employees who share something important: it could be a group with shared opportunity (e.g., high-potentials), a level of cross-functional leadership (e.g., all department heads), a working group within one job function (e.g., all the sales managers), or a group united by a shared painpoint (e.g., burnout).

When designing a program, we use these groupings to determine 1) how many and which people will the program serve and 2) what specific activities are right for their specific needs.

Cohorts are developed and individuals selected in partnership with stakeholders and can be selected by application process, by manager recommendation, or CEO selection. The process depends on each organization’s needs.

  • What’s your stance on diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace?

Diversity, equity and inclusion (or DEI, DE&I, DEIB) are at the heart of our mission and are critical to every single engagement we book. We’d love to compare definitions, discuss what DEI means to your organization, and find ways to weave DEI into every leadership development touchpoint.

  • What’s the first step if I’m ready to book a service?

Share some info! If you’ll fill out our contact form, we can guide you through a series of optional questions to get a deeper understanding of what you’re looking for out of your employee engagement partners.
We can then follow up with you directly and discuss options that address your needs. Access our contact form here.
